In a beginner webdesign class, I was able to learn the basics with HTML & CSS by creating different webpages.
While learning HTML and CSS we were asked to create several basic webpages in order to fully understand how HTML and CSS worked. For one of the assignments we added our resume to a HTML file then added CSS to make it more stylish. We were given a page already created called Head First Lounge and asked to style it better. We had to create a webpage that contained a form along with a follow-up page, once the user submitted the form. One webpage was created based on the HTML Framework. For the mid-term exam we were asked to evaluate two websites then create a website for each evaluation that explains what you thought worked and what you thought didn't work for each website. For my evaluations I decided to try and replicate the websites I evaluated.
In this class I was introduced to JavaScript and jQuery. For the final project we have to incorporate a JavaScript photoviewer or use some jQuery effects.
